Snapdragon 888: new in the world of technology — first test resultsWe are happy to see how Qualcomm's brand-new flagship Snapdragon 888 demonstrates itself on various smartphones and tablets, but until this time it was only unofficial results. Today, the manufacturer of the flagship chip published the first official results in well-known benchmarks.

Of course, testing took place on a reference device where, in addition to the Snapdragon 888 processor, there was also 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM, 512 GB of UFS 3.0 permanent memory and a 6.65-inch FullHD display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The developers performed all the tests three times, and after that they received average indicators. Several benchmarks took part in this testing: AnTuTu, geekbench, GFXBench Aztec Normal and Manhattan 3.0, Ludashi aimark, AITuTu, MLPerf and UL Procyon.

Naturally, the most interesting results were in two popular benchmarks. In AnTuTu (version 8.3.4) SD 888 was able to score 735 439 points and in this test it is a new record. The closest competitor and current champion of AnTuTu-Huawei Mate 40 Pro + was able to score, in turn, 698,654 points, and the result of the last flagship Qualcomm-Snapdragon 865 together with Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra — 671,045 points.
In Geekbench (version 5.0.2), SD 888 showed 1135 points in the single — core test and 3794 in the multi-core test. To give you some comparison, the SD 865 scored around 900 and 3400 points in the same tests.
